A little bit of babbling bubbling heaven

Where did my baby Gracey go?
As I got ready for bed tonight I saw tucked in some fabric Gracey's little plastic "baby"...I couldn't help but smile as I thought about my darling Grace.  She is growing up way to fast.  Her smile and loud voice cheers up the whole family.  Everyone wants to play with her and she is quite strong-willed but so sweet and generally is very kind and gentle...She always talks about being a mother and having a baby and she is constantly showing me how she "cuddles" her baby.  Doesn't she understand that she is my baby and I don't want her to grow up yet?
She is my light, my constant babbling baby/toddler/big girl....who refuses to take naps!  Gone are the days of 2 hours of peace while I taught the kids home-schooling and devotionals.  Grace just will not nap and even if I close her door she gets on her stomach and yells thru the door, she wants to "sit by the fire and do devotionals, drink tea, come for family prayers, play with her buddies" anything except go to bed when her sisters are up.
my little Gracey!
Me as a brand new Mom of #5 Grace

Maria doing her school....
it is crazy how our home-schooling day keeps evolving with Grace around, now that she is THREE.  I am beginning to think she has more power than I want!  We used to have a pretty regular schedule (well, in a house of 5 little girls there is nothing regular) The kids would wake up do grooming, rooms, baths (the twins could live in the bath!) breakfast scriptures school then Grace napped and we would do devotionals and family learning I loved this time. I found it challenging trying to engage the 4 girls while maintaining order and excitement (the ages of my girls are 10, 9, 6, 6)  Now Grace is up all day and it seems all night...ohhhhhh, but she is beautiful even if she can't sit still.  She is my very best friend and talks to me non-stop and follows me whereever I am and wants to play with me.  She walked up on the counter over to the sink where I was washing dishes and asked if she could have a bath in the sink while I washed...I don't think so, she kept asking until I said she could have a bath tomorrow in the sink!  The three little girls had two baths today...that is what happens when it is to cold outside to play.  The second bath they put on swim-suits and had bubbles, they were so excited because there special friend Zini was also in a swimsuit and jumped in with them...I brought them fresh hot muffin cake drazzled in chocolate sauce (yep, that was dinner tonight) they were so cute.  Sannie took Maria over night to get his passport stuff so I had only 4 kids.  It is crazy how one less kid makes the job so much easier and relaxed, weird how that is!  I had a great day and love our kids so much!!!!  God bless...
